Sand Dollar

Sand dollars are a favorite sea side find here on Tybee.  You are actually allowed to keep the ones that are not alive.  You can tell if it is alive, by the color.  Living ones are a pale pinkish purple and have a furry look to them. The ones that can be kept are bleached  to a pale tan or white color.  

Dave created this pattern back in 2019, after so many people made requests for us to make them.  This is our large sand dollar and they are embellished with wire designs, and glass baubles.
