Hippie Van

This original design was done by Natalisa.  She was inspired by a local surf instructor here on Tybee, who loads his old VW van on top with all his training boards.  It is a marvelous sight to see him coming down the road with boards stacked high and his bright smile as he heads to the Southend to greet all his students with a happy aloha, and occasionally a song or two with his ukulele.  Hot Sushi, as he is known on the island imparts passion and love to every new Grom he takes out into the surf.  This iconic bus has given me the opportunity to hear many love stories from the 60's that are still going strong today.
