Warts and all, these cuties are an original design by Cassidy Moriah. She has brought their hoppy personality to life! She has always loved frogs. When she was little we would walk through Jaycee Park after a heavy rain and count all the frogs. Wowsers, literally hundreds of them would be out, croaking a song of delight. These days it is rare to find a frog in Jaycee Park. We barely see a tree frog once a year, where in times past, we would open up the porch umbrella to be greeted by 2 or 3. We have seen this change and realize as more people come to rely on pesticides, herbicides and fungicides it is having an impact on these small creatures. As beekeepers we are aware of the dangers all of these little creatures face and it is hard to keep quiet when we see the results.
