Flamingo at Dusk

The design of this Flamingo was done by Dave.  It is a scene filled with crystal bevels that add extra sparkle.  An interesting fact, pink stained glass is made with gold.  Right now the economy has priced gold at nearly $2,000 an ounce.  The pink in this flamingo is special because the factories we visit to purchase our glass from have had to reduce their production of pink in relation to the high cost of gold.  We are careful in all the pink we use at this time, and to make sure we are putting it into pieces that have the greatest bang!  This is a fabulous flamingo and a perfect choice to showcase the pink we have in our glass collection.
