Wowzers! Today is our first day of being 6 years old. Yesterday we spent the morning working on the website. Then we took a break and had a late lunch at Cancun's on Wilmington Island. We got home and took some time to reflect on our time doing what we love.
The first thing we shared and agreed on was the impact of all the folks we have been so blessed to meet and get to know. We have been inspired by the creative ideas you have shared and encouraged us to make. We have heard so many beautiful stories of your lives, thank you for sharing. We are grateful that you have chose us a part of your life by supporting our work and giving it to friends and family. We look forward to seeing, and we are excited for all the new people we will meet this year.
We are truly thankful for all the artist we get to be surrounded by at every art show, pop-up or our weekly Farmer's market here on the island. We have felt incredible love and support from our creative community. They have inspired us in the innovative ways they work and grow their small business. It's a wonderful feeling when we go to a show knowing we have a great group of people working alongside us.
We have learned and grown daily in how to be Marketers, Salesmen, Teachers,Cultivators of Relationships, Administrators, and Expert Craftsmen of Stained Glass. We try to laugh often throughout the day, it keeps our business life in perspective. A good example, I am writing this blog for the third time, because I keep forgetting to save it, first time I made dinner, then when I put a load of laundry in the dryer! I have learned through all my mistakes, and just when I thought I knew what I was doing, I dropped a project I'm working on. Ugh! Now to clean up my broken glass!
